Spengler Nathanson Celebrates Grand Opening at 900 Adams Street

November 1, 2019

Spengler Nathanson, founded in 1947, celebrates its new home at 900 Adams Street in downtown Toledo. Managing Partner Byron Choka states that the new location is the perfect place to continue the firm’s long history of collaborative and innovative service to its clients. Spengler Nathanson recently celebrated its 70th year as a law firm, and has been headquartered in downtown Toledo for its entire existence. Mr. Choka stated that this acquisition solidifies the firm’s commitment to downtown and contributes a positive economic impact to the core of downtown Toledo.

The firm’s new home is a three-story structure, built in 1911, with over 26,000 sq. ft. of office and conference space. It is proximately located to the County, Federal, and Municipal Courthouses and is directly across from the Main Branch of the Toledo Lucas County Public Library. The firm spent six months renovating the building, to bring it back to being a dynamic part of the downtown Toledo landscape, before moving in on July 28, 2018. The firm is now up and running in its new location.

Spengler Nathanson’s family of 31 attorneys and 16 staff celebrated the Grand Opening of the Firm’s new home with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and an ice cream truck. Managing Partner Byron Choka offered remarks about the building and the Firm’s history and future, and Toledo Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz offered remarks about the continued resurgence of downtown Toledo.

Spengler Nathanson is a full-service law firm serving individuals, corporations, public entities, and small businesses in areas related to business transactions, real estate, trust and estates, employment law, elder law, family law, and trial and appellate litigation.

The firm looks forward to a bright future of serving its clients and its communities in its new home.
